CEO & CIO Martin Estlander M.Sc. (Eng.) 

Martin Estlander first became involved in trading derivative instruments in 1987 as a co-founder of the market maker Sophos AB in Stockholm. Next year he co-founded Servisen Arctos & Partners Oy in Helsinki, with Servisen Arctos & Partners GmbH (SAP) established in Frankfurt as an Eurex market maker in 1990. The option market making business was further extended through operations on the Swiss and Norwegian exchanges. As a result of a management buyout in 1992, the companies were rebranded as Estlander & Rönnlund. The first managed futures program, Estlander & Partners Global Markets, was developed by Martin and launched in 1991. In 2002 the company exited the option market making business to focus on trading advisory services. In 2009 the name of the company was changed to Estlander & Partners Ltd. Martin Estlander is today the CEO for Estlander & Partners. He holds an MSc in Industrial Management and Computer Sciences from the Helsinki University of Technology and he is a member of the board of directors of Wello Oy, a Finnish company focusing on creating an ecological solution to harness wave energy from the ocean.

PORTFOLIO MANAGER & HEAD OF NORDIC SALES
Jesper Nyberg M.Sc. 

Jesper joined Estlander & Partners in 2000 as a Portfolio Manager and Researcher. Jesper Nyberg's commitments have included risk management, quantitative analysis, producing new trade ideas and developing the systematic programs. Jesper is currently working as Head of Nordic Sales, focusing on institutional clients and also works on portfolio management, currently focusing on fundamental models. Jesper Nyberg is also a member of the Executive Board. Previously Jesper Nyberg worked as a stock analyzer at ABB Aros Securities Ltd. where he was responsible for risk management. He was also actively involved in decisions concerning portfolio management. In 1999 Jesper Nyberg graduated as M.Sc. from Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Per-Johan West M.Sc.

Per-Johan West is CFO of Estlander & Partners Ltd., a member of the Executive Board as well as chairman of the Risk Committee at Estlander & Partners. Per-Johan West is responsible for Finance, Compliance, all aspects of Fund Valuation and Performance Measurement. He also has the overall responsibility for Operations and System Development of the integarted operational platform and the HR department. Per-Johan West joined the company in 1997 as Head of Finance and Operations. Previously Per-Johan worked several years as Project and Account Manager at ICL Fujitsu Ltd. in Finland. Per-Johan holds an M.Sc. in Accounting from the Swedish School of Economics in Vaasa and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from University of Applied Sciences in Vaasa.

DEPUTY HEAD OF PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Daniel Djupsjöbacka PhD.

Daniel Djupsjöbacka has been with Estlander & Partners since year 2000. He works as Portfolio Manager and  Researcher.  Other tasks include development and evaluation of business strategy and coordination of due diligences. His previous commitments within the organization include discretionary trading (Options Market Making), development and management of intra-day equity models, market research, research coordination as well as appointed risk management for Estlander & Partners.  Daniel holds a PhD. degree in Finance from the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration. The thesis was rewarded 3rd place in the EDAMBA thesis competition of European theses in the Business Administration and Management area in 2007. Daniel also holds an M.Sc. degree in Acturial Mathematics from Åbo Akademi University in Turku.
